What’s in My Bag as a Realtor

What I Carry to Stay Prepared, Not Perfect

1/7/20264 min read

Being a realtor means I’m rarely sitting still. My days are a mix of driving, showings, meetings, inspections, and a lot of time spent in and out of different places. Over time, my bag has turned into my mobile command center, and I’ve learned what actually earns a permanent spot.

This isn’t a curated flat lay.
This is the stuff I genuinely use to get through long days while staying organized, comfortable, and prepared.

The Essentials That Run My Workday

Phone, Keys, and Wireless Earbuds

My phone is my entire business. Calls, texts, GPS, lockboxes, contracts, photos. Everything runs through it.

Wireless earbuds make it easier to take calls hands free while driving between appointments or knocking out quick tasks in between showings.

I also keep an AirTag on my keys. When you’re in and out of properties all day, knowing you can quickly find them is one less thing to think about.

Portable Charger

This one is non negotiable.

Long days mean constant phone use, and a dead battery is not an option. I keep a portable charger with built in cables so I never have to worry about finding the right cord or outlet.

It lives in my bag full time.

Snacks and Hydration for Long Realtor Days

Protein Bars and Beef Jerky

There are days when I don’t eat a real meal until late. Keeping protein bars and beef jerky in my bag helps me stay focused and avoid running on caffeine alone.

They’re easy to eat in the car and don’t melt or make a mess.

Electrolytes

Florida heat makes hydration a priority.

I keep electrolyte packets in my bag because plain water doesn’t always cut it, especially on days with a lot of walking and driving. They’re easy to toss into a bottle and actually help with energy.

Beauty and Personal Care I Actually Use

Lip Balm and Lip Treatments

Talking all day, air conditioning, and coffee means lip balm is a must. I usually carry more than one depending on the day.

I keep a basic repair stick for everyday use and a hydrating gloss or treatment when I want something polished without doing a full makeup touch up.

Setting Powder

This is about humidity, not glam.

A compact setting powder makes it easy to touch up quickly between appointments and helps me feel put together even after hours of running around.

Eye Drops

Early mornings, screen time, and contacts catch up fast. Eye drops are an instant refresh before showings or meetings and live in my bag permanently.

Hair Scrunchies

Some days start with my hair down and end with it up. I always keep at least one scrunchie in my bag, usually more. Satin scrunchies are easier on hair and don’t leave harsh creases.

Hand Sanitizer

I touch a lot of door handles throughout the day.

Homes, condos, elevators, lockboxes, public spaces. A small hand sanitizer stays in my bag so I can quickly clean my hands without drying them out.

Personal Safety Items I Carry as a Realtor

I work alone often, meet new people regularly, and spend time in unfamiliar places. Most days are completely normal, but being prepared helps me stay confident and focused on my work.

These are small, simple safety items I keep on me because they’re easy to carry and don’t disrupt my routine.

Pepper Spray Keychain

I like having pepper spray attached directly to my keys so it’s always within reach. I don’t have to dig through my bag to find it, which matters in real life situations.

Self Defense Keychain Sticks

These are lightweight, discreet, and easy to keep on a keyring. I keep one on my main keys and one in my bag as a backup.

Pepper Spray with Stun Feature

This is something I carry depending on where I’m going or what my day looks like. It’s compact and provides an extra layer of security when I want it.

Why I Share What’s in My Bag

Everything in my bag has earned its place. I don’t carry things just to carry them, and I don’t recommend products I don’t actually use.

If I link something, it’s because it’s part of my real routine as a working realtor, not because it’s trendy or sponsored.

If you’re curious about anything I mentioned, I keep everything from this post organized in my Amazon storefront so it’s easy to browse.
